We are happy to share the 2008 Class Newsletter! Hopefully, as you read through the
newsletter you find yourself reconnecting – reflecting on memories of your time as a Saint Mary’s student, fellow classmates, favorite instructors, and so on. If you haven’t had an opportunity to visit campus recently, consider doing so – you are always welcome “home!”
Among the many exciting things happening at your alma mater are the following:
Brother William Mann, FSC, D.Min., 13th president, joined the university community on June 1, 2008. Formal inauguration of Brother William is scheduled for September 26, 2008.
The Board of Trustees has endorsed the need for a state-of-the-art science facility to support the university’s strong science program and aid in recruiting and visibility. The project would include an addition to the Adducci Science Center and renovation of Hoffman and Brother Charles halls. The goal is that the science facility project be complete in 2012, our centenary year.

Construction is well underway for the new outdoor track and field/soccer complex. The complex is near the front entrance along Highway 14 – you can’t miss it! This addition, along with the recent renovation of the baseball and softball fields, helps Saint Mary’s to remain competitive in recruiting and retaining student-athletes.
Conceived and funded by the Alumni Association, the Veterans Memorial was dedicated on June 14, 2008.
We encourage you to stay in touch with each other and Saint Mary’s – submit class notes
via the online community or the alumni website, attend alumni events, and encourage
prospective students to attend your alma mater.
